I met Gem's breeder, Sandra Kretz, when Carrie and I went to the Westminster Kennel Club show in New York City several years ago. We had to wait patiently for a puppy and were rewarded with our Gem in 2002. Gem easily achieved her AKC Championship, has 2 legs on her Junior Hunter title and needs only 1 more leg for her Rally Excellent title. She is pointed in Canada (CKC) towards her Show Championship. We hope to start working on her Senior Hunter and Companion Dog titles in 2008. Gem has major pointed dogs from her first litter, and her second litter is in the whelping box now. She is a wonderful mom. Gem has the following medical clearances: OFA Excellent hips, CERF, CD by parentage, Cardiac and Baer (hearing). |
